Welcome to Day 2 of my 90-day web development journey! As I embark on this exciting adventure, I'm thrilled to share my progress, experiences, and the lessons I'm learning along the way. Today, my primary focus was on refining my personal portfolio website.

Accomplishments

One of the most satisfying achievements of the day was refining the homepage of my portfolio. I spent time carefully selecting colors and designing the menu items for the navigation links. It's amazing how small design choices can make a significant impact on the overall look and feel of a website. This process allowed me to apply and enhance my HTML and CSS skills.

Additionally, I tackled the creation and styling of my contact page. I carefully crafted the layout, ensuring it was visually appealing and user-friendly. CSS played a crucial role in achieving the desired aesthetics. Seeing my website take shape step by step is incredibly rewarding and motivating.

Stumbling Blocks

However, not everything went as smoothly as I had hoped today. My major stumbling block was attempting to connect my contact form to a database using PHP and an XAMPP server. Despite scouring various resources on YouTube and Google, I couldn't quite grasp the intricacies of this process. It left me feeling a bit frustrated and overwhelmed.

A Moment to Rest and Reflect

Recognizing the importance of pacing myself, I decided to take a step back and rest. Tomorrow is a new day, and I believe that taking a breather and approaching the challenge with a fresh perspective will lead to better results.
